Workshop: Roses On The Basket

Alhamdulillah, we had successfully organised our first cake deco workshop:"ROSES ON THE BASKET " yesterday from 12.30 pm until 5 pm. We had to finished the workshop at 5 pm because our Malaysian postgraduates had a football friendly match with Indonesian students. The football game began at 6 pm.

This class was requested by Kak Sham and Kak Nina, unfortunately Kak Nina unable to attend this workshop. Luckily, Kak Feza interested to attend this workshop...praise to Allah. My intention is to limit only two participants for each workshop.

At the end of this workshop, the participants are expected to be able to explain basic concepts of decorating cake in terms of supplies and tools, icing, simple fondant, piping techniques and steps involved. Participants also are expected to be able to decorate a cake (Roses on the basket) using the following main techniques: Basket weave, Roses and Grass.

Farah's cake - my second order

Alhamdulillah..this is my second order at the moment...I got this order from a Malaysian mum here (K.syikin) for her lovely daughter Farah .This is for her Birthday celebration at Farah's Kindy. She requested some strawberry on top of the cake because Farah likes it...So this is the cake..

His Dream

Mula-mula kena set dulu..sesiapa nak baca story kat bawh ni..sila baca dgn intonasi budak 2 thn yang cakapnya tak berapa lancar...dan sebutannya yang agak mengelirukan..

This is my Little Hero story...

When I finished showered him yesterday morning...Suddenly..

Najmi :Mama..adik lampak dog"
Me : Adik see dog?..Where?..here?..kat mana?
Najmi : He smile..(may be tengah recall kat mana dia nampak dog kot)
Najme : mmm...mmm....adik see dog kat..mmmm..mmmm..(smile again)NO ANSWER
Me : (My mind start thinking- mimpi agaknya budak kecik ni)..
Adik dreamed last night?adik nampak dog?
Najmi : Yah..
Najmi : Adik sorang..
Me : Then what do you do to that dog?
Najmi : Adik syuhh..syuhh..(sambil tgnnya berlakon menghalau dog)..Dog run mama
Me : Adik scared?
Najmi : Adik scared...No..adik tak scared..
Both of us laughing...

Rupanya..anak kecilku ni dah pandai menceritakan mimpi...Mimpi dog tu mesti kesinambungan dog yg kejar dia dan kaklongnya masa diorg tgh swimimming kat backyard last two days..

Ni gambar sebelum dikejar dog..tengah enjoy habis budak 2 org tu...bila ada dog jengah kat sebelah..lari bertempiaran Najlaa dan Najmi..Alhamdulillah..tak de ape yg terjadi.

Practise...Practise..Practise.. and new hobby

Yesterday was very cloudy day. No Mr. Sun at all...Shower all the time...Ada lagi resepi yg belum dicuba kat dalam majalah tu. "So this is the day"...Kalau tidak, mendung-mendung macam ni mesti mengantuk..Kali ni cuba buat cuppies pula..cuppies kecil-kecil je, saja nak cuba-cuba deco yg kecil2 ni, and I can keep practising myself.So picture below was my yesterday project.

Kali ni saya tak bercerita tentang masak-masak atau sharing recipe..Entry kali ini umpama entry jalan-jalan tenangkan minda damaikan hati...mcm host rancangan pulak..Ok..Jom ke The Dugald Mackenzie Rose Garden in the Victoria Esplanade Palmerston North..Rose Garden ni memang cantik..kebetulan few minutes je dari rumah kami..and the most important is FOC...tu yang best tu...ok..jom tengok gambar2 permandangan kat sini..

Rose Garden ni ada sebuah pond..memang cantik view disini..Tengok dari atas tangga pun cantik..di bawah pun cantik...





Walaupun tahun lepas dah datang Rose Garden ni..tp bila summer je mesti nak visit lagi..seronok tengok bunga-bunga ros yang pelbagai warna ciptaan Yang Maha Kuasa ini..saujana mata memandang bila masuk kesini...hati pun berbunga riang...
